Welcome to my website. I am a Hertfordshire based artist, often painting subjects close to home, and often get inspired whilst in my local coffee shops. I have travelled extensively and get very excited about the places I have seen, and due to my geography background, I frequently want to paint rock formations, lichens, and bacteria in hot springs.
I prefer to work in oils as they allow me to think while I am painting, but sadly they take so long to dry between glazes that I have to do other works in acrylic. I enjoy doing landscapes and still life, but at times images pop into my head and I have to get them down as fast as possible. The end result is a rather odd semi abstract piece, but they all make sense to me.
